Isolated Sensors – LEM’s HAB family

LEM’s HAB family of current detectors is designed for automotive battery-monitoring apps. The sensors depend on open-loop, Hall-effect transducers that simplify equally installation and repairing by removing the need to cut the cable carrying the assessed current. The 14 sensors in the family provide primary current measurement ranges from ±20 The to ±120 A, a precision of ±2% across the operating temperature range of -40°C for you to +125°C and a choice of present or PWM outputs.

The sensors operate coming from a unipolar 5-V supply and provide an entirely ratiometric solution for the existing output devices. Reaction time is less than 10 ms. Any watertight housing and sealed connector offer full environmental defense in under-the-hood applications. Primary applications are expected to stay in the measurement associated with battery-pack current in electric, hybrid and typical vehicles.
